Michael Carlisle Hall (b. Feb 1st 1971) is the epitome of all acting talent. He has received a Golden Globe and SAG Award for his performance on Showtime's 'Dexter', receievd nominations for his performance on HBO's 'Six Feet Under', and has been in major broadway productions such as 'Chicago.' He also produces 'Dexter,' which has receieved multiple Golden Globe nominations. Simply put, he's a never-ending fountain of talent. Today, Hall is recovering from Hodgkin's Lymphoma, having beaten the cancer. He is married to the lovely Jennifer Carpenter, whom he met on the set of 'Dexter.' Hall is also preparing to film two upcoming film projects: East Fifth Bliss and Peep World. Additionally, filming for Dexter Season 5 will begin the next couple of months. NotesJeff Lindsay (the author of the Dexter books) discusses how he was totally against Michael C. Hall playing Dexter when he was first told, because ‘he didn’t realize actors that good existed’ and he ‘didn’t think Michael was one of them.’
Also, it’s really strange, because if you listen hard…Jeff Lindsay sounds a LOT like Michael. Only Lindsay is a lot less attractive.
